Learn by Doing Photography Assignment #29 – Sunset

So how do you want to capture the sunset tonight!

When you slow down to watch the sunset, you see the how amazing each moment is. The colors change constantly creating new visions to be photographed each moment.  It moves so quickly you can’t decide which lens, you can only choose one for each moment since it will pass so quickly. Yet at the same time everything moves slow as you sit there behind your tripod, watching waiting enjoying the sunset.

Here are a few from my last night that I shot –

I like quick tips when reading on how to photograph something. Improve put together a great list on how to photograph the sunset:

Sunset

A couple things I have learned along the way:

1. always use a tripod
2. Remote triggers are great (or just use your timer)
3. If you want to capture those amazing colors meter in the sky next to the sun
4. Bring all your lenses
5. Stay after the sunsets
6. Move around, don’t just photograph one spot – look for interesting shots
