Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II

50mm

Canon 50mm f/1.8

I have a few lenses under my belt now, but this lens never stops amazing me and always remains in my camera bag. I love the picture quality and color that comes from it plus it’s so light. In the video he talks about it feeling toy like, which it definitely doesn’t feel as solid as my other lenses, but I still think it’s a good lens I take that back I think it’s a great lens.

If you’re trying to decide between the Canon f/1.8 vs f/1.4 vs f/1.2. I have only tried the F/1.8. You can skip ahead to 5:43 on the video where he takes 3 of the same picture with each lens to see the results. To me the 50mm f/1.8 held up pretty good minus the fact that he said it felt like a toy in his hands, which I would agree.
