Learn By Doing Photography Assignment #13 – Leading Lines

Leading lines refer to the composition technique where the lines lead your eye into the image. You hear about composition rules all the time, but do you always follow them? There is so much to think about when taking a picture… Is my exposure right, is my shutter speed correct, sometimes we forget to look at the composition, at least I do.

This week look for leading lines. You don’t even have to have your camera with you. When you’re running errands or out for a walk just look around for leading lines.

On our walk this week I went out looking for lines and found my sweet girl at that end of that line!
