A big thank you to Kristina Servant who sent in this amazing photo. I love the way she describes carrying her camera with her everywhere she goes.   She was prepared with camera in hand when this beautiful photo opportunity unfolded before her eyes. Thank you for sharing!

I always keep my camera on me, no matter the temperature. I think that there may be an interesting element to photograph. I keep my eyes open at all times no matter where I am. Family celebration, dinner at restaurant, time studies or during a car ride … there is always an element to photograph. Some think I’m crazy to photograph a glass of wine, but for me there is an artistic side. Everything is in the way of composing the image and the light present.

When I photograph people, I try to keep a natural look to the poses. That way my clients feel comfortable and are happy. I always do my shootings outside to enjoy the beautiful natural light. Each person is beautiful in one way or another and it is my role to bring out their natural beauty. It is for this reason that there is no major photo processing, I just make your eyes brighter.

When I photograph landscapes, I go with the emotion felt when I saw the scene. The picture I present to you was taken during a snowstorm. I walked one morning and the streetlights were still open. The mixture of light and snowflakes created a moment of magic like Christmas cards.
