Learn by Doing Photography – Fences

Assignment #53 Photographing a Fence

Wow! It’s been an entire year of Photography Assignments! Whooa!!!

I have never photographed a fence before…. Kinda odd I thought. So I walked around this week looking at fences. At first I thought this is an easy assignment, it’s more about just getting out a photographing something you may or may not have photographed before.

I was wrong! It was all about angles, and trying not to get the house in the background. Or trying to get up on my tippy toes to get a different angle. I have a vision in my head when I started out, but was having a hard time capturing it. I think I need to shoot more fences!

I couldn’t find any good tutorials on “how to shoot a fence” If you find one let me know and I will add it! What I did find which might be helpful is “How to Shoot through a Fence“.

This was my favorite of the day because this puppy was so stinkin cute! Not much of a fence in the picture, oh well!

The next two were of a beautiful fence, but angles… How do you get the right angle!

It was good practice walking around! So how did your pictures turn out?

Remember you can post your pictures at the bottom of this post or on DigitalCamFan FaceBook wall. If you have questions about “Learn By Doing” Please refer to the guideline page. If you have no questions post away!
