Roosevelt Bridge Night Shot
Living just on the far side of this bridge (The Roosevelt Bridge in Stuart, FL), this has always been a favorite of mine to photograph. Day or night you can get great shots of it’s beautiful s-curve and lines, not to mention the usual blue skies and water.
I had been there many times to take night shots, but this night the weather and indeed all of mother nature was with me. The night sky was clear. The wind was not blowing, as that always causes jitters and blurriness in photos. The water was calm, but honestly still not as smooth as a serene lake shot, and why I had to go with a 100 ISO so I could get the long 30 second exposure to smooth out the waters to what you see in the shot.
I’ve always been a fool for reflections and bridges, so why not a night shot of a reflecting lit bridge! Make it my favorite bridge to boot, and I was very pleased with the outcome.
studio3six is still young, and we are having a blast getting it up and running. Landscape and nature shots, like many photographers, are where we started our pursuit, and Florida is never-ending in its natural beauty. We are now in the process of adding portraits, family, pets, and weddings to our portfolio.
Thank you for the chance to share our passion with others. It’s what we do, and it’s a blessing to be able to do something you love.
