Learn By Doing – Bring on the Light (results)

This one sounded easy enough, but when you go looking for light sometimes it is hard to find! The picture I used for assignment #8 at St. Louis Cathedral had beautiful light flooding every ounce of that church. But this morning as I walked around I saw nothing but gray outside.  I turned on lights in the house holding objects up to the light. I held things up to the window trying to use the outside light coming in. Light was everywhere and yet I was having a hard time finding it!

I finally found a lamp in my living room that held a soft light so I took it! It was still good practice since it had me walking around with camera in hand looking for light. Hunting down the light trying to figure out where it was coming from in each room and how I could capture it.

I took this picture with a Canon 60D Lens: Canon 50mm f/1.8

Aperture: F/8
ISO: 100
Shutter Speed: 1/125 sec
