Canon EOS 60D

I recently purchased the Canon EOS 60D! It’s an amazing camera its a big purchase, but i have no buyers remorse. I love this camera!   As I write Canon EOS I am actually not sure what the letters “EOS” stands for…

I had to head over to Google just now and look that up – EOS stands for electro optical system, but it also refers to the Greek goddess of dawn.  Interesting…

I purchased mine on sale for $899.99 at Amazon – I’ve been watching it last week it bounced back up to $999.99, but right now it’s back on sale at $899.99.  Everything eventually goes on sale at some point. The trick is to buy it when it is on sale.

Here is the Official Product Description:

8.0-megapixel CMOS sensor and DIGIC 4 Imaging Processor; ISO 100-6400 (expandable to 12800)
Body only; lenses sold separately
Improved EOS HD Video mode with manual exposure control; Vari-angle 3.0-inch Clear View LCD monitor
5.3 fps continuous shooting; enhanced iFCL 63-zone, Dual-layer metering system
Compatibility with SD/SDHC/SDXC memory cards (not included); please note that the EOS 60 is not compatible with CF memory cards

If you’re still researching which camera is right for you I do have a post that talks about a few of the differences between the Canon T2i, Canon T3i and the 60D. It is no small decision when you’re trying to figure out which camera is right for you!
